You will gain experience on projects large and small, in various phases of construction. We also hope to give you experiences outside of the typical internship in your discipline – from helping on a business development or marketing pursuit, planning an event for your office, or sharing your ideas on what the future of design services looks like.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Position Summary&nbsp;</strong><br>As a DLR Group Summer Intern, you will be an important part of our integrated design team and will help produce designs for commercial, educational, and municipal buildings of all sizes and complexities. Our Summer Internship Program is a paid, full-time opportunity running from May 19 through August 7, 2026. We expect interns to participate throughout the duration of the program. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow, learn and contribute your design voice to our brand promise of Elevating the Human Experience.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with other design team members in the integrated design process for various projects&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop proficiency in primary design tools such as Revit, Enscape, and proprietary DLR Group design tools and methods&nbsp;</li> <li>Create presentation materials using SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite to support design efforts&nbsp;</li> <li>Support project pursuits and contribute to business development opportunities&nbsp;</li> <li>Engage in project and site meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination&nbsp;</li> <li>Explore and gain a deeper understanding of construction documentation and processes&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree program (NAAB-accredited university strongly preferred)&nbsp;</li> <li>Completed 3 years of design education prior to the start of the internship&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Revit&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with SketchUp, Enscape, Rhino, or other design software&nbsp;</li> <li>Excellent visual, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills&nbsp;</li> <li>Previous internship/commercial design experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Mural (visual collaboration software)&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><em><strong>*TO BE CONSIDERED, PLEASE SUBMIT A CURRENT PORTFOLIO, PREFERABLY IN PDF FORMAT*&nbsp;</strong></em></p> <p><em>Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position, including temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including OPT and CPT), TN, J, H-1B, or those who need employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.</em></p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Our comprehensive Benefits at DLR Group include medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, flex spending, paid holidays, and paid time off.
