About the Role

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Maintain awareness of current news and  developments in dairy, agricultural, and sustainability practices, and provide timely reports to various stakeholders

  • Evaluate data from DFA on-farm programs to develop reports and communications that outline findings

  • Refine and enhance reporting tools for on-farm program progress by integrating staff feedback, customizing for diverse audiences, and developing comprehensive user guides

  • Contribute to the implementation of the FARM Program by preparing materials and resources addressing common challenges, as well as training materials for field staff

 

  • Assist Farm Practices team members in the preparation and execution of meetings, events, and trade shows, as required

  • Participate in designated intern events, excursions, and community service initiatives
Qualifications

The qualified candidate will be enrolled in an undergraduate program with a degree focus in animal science, dairy science, agricultural business, agriculture communications, agricultural education, agricultural studies, pre-vet, and other related fields
