Manufacturing/Automation Engineering Intern (P-4930)

<p>We are seeking a Manufacturing/Automation Engineering Intern to join the Manufacturing Systems Engineering department for the Summer of 2026.&nbsp; The Manufacturing Systems Engineering group designs and implements equipment for the production of instruments and consumables here at the 10x manufacturing facility. This 10-12 week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing and/or onboarding Manufacturing equipment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will be doing:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design systems using SolidWorks</li> <li>Host design reviews and receive cross-functional team feedback</li> <li>Work with vendors and procurement to purchase manufacturing equipments</li> <li>Assemble and test manufacturing equipment</li> <li>Write work instructions and qualify the equipment</li> <li>Train operators on how to use the equipment</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current student who has completed at least their second year of undergraduate degree in mechanical, manufacturing, electrical engineering, or related discipline.&nbsp;</li> <li>Hands-on experience required (Some form of fabrication, electrical wiring, or troubleshooting)</li> <li>Able to commit to a full-time internship program for 10-12 weeks during summer of 2026.</li> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>CAD software experience (Solidworks Preferred)</li> <li>Some scripting/programming experience</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Below is the base pay range for this position.&nbsp; The actual base pay will depend on several factors unique to each candidate, including one’s skills, qualifications, and experience.&nbsp; Unless otherwise required by law, this role is not eligible for 10x’s health benefit program.&nbsp; During the hiring process, your 10x recruiter can share more information about the Company’s compensation and benefits.</p></div><div class="title">Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$30</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$33 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>About 10x Genomics</strong></p> <p>At 10x Genomics, accelerating our understanding of biology is more than a mission for us.
