We are seeking a motivated Product Management Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in SaaS product development and strategy. This role offers exposure to product lifecycle management, market research, and customer insights, while working closely with a Boston-based Product Manager and global teams across the U.S., India, and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete PTC University Codebeamer courses to build product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with a Product Manager to create two epics for Codebeamer 3.4.
  • Conduct light research on general infrastructure and internal tools.
  • Work on Codebeamer+ self-service or storage/memory monitoring and reporting, including defining acceptance criteria for long-term solutions.
  • Review and categorize customer ideas from PTC Community, identifying common themes and pain points.
  • Prepare a PowerPoint presentation summarizing key customer challenges.
  • Perform market research on top competitors, analyzing strengths, weaknesses, and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Participate in weekly PM team meetings, 1:1 sessions, and shadow additional product management discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
  • Strong interest in business, SaaS, technology, project management, product development, or product strategy.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think critically and work independently with guidance.

PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated average hourly rate for this position is $32/hour.  This rate reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's major, degree currently being pursued and location.
