Backend Software Engineer - Internship

This is not a short term summer internship, we are looking to hire someone long term.</em></strong></span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Collaborate with experienced software engineers on backend projects. These projects can involve:</p> <ul> <li>Developing features on services of the entire backend system.</li> <li>Building components and integrating them with our in-house computer vision models.</li> <li>Developing software services to enhance data flow and to improve the quality of our products.</li> <li>Work cross functionally to build tools and platforms, automate processes, speed up data delivery, and work on the cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance monitoring.&nbsp;</li> <li>Write high-quality, efficient, and scalable code in languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.<br>• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our coding standards.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test new features and improvements.</li> <li>Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates and progress reports.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><strong>Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Degree (B.S or M.S) in Computer Science or related degree.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience in Python.</li> <li>Strong collaborative skills, analytical skills, &amp; great attention to detail.</li> <li>Willingness to take on a variety of software projects with a proactive attitude.</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Kargo is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
