R&D Intern - QA Engineering

As our QA Engineer Intern, you will fuel the next generation of products through rigorous testing, data-driven analysis, and cross-team collaboration, ensuring we deliver game-changing results.

We are seeking a QA Engineer Intern who is curious, hands-on and detail oriented. In this role, you will support product validation and development by testing prototypes, analysing performance data, and working closely with engineers and project managers to ensure project milestones are met and new products are successfully launched.

YOUR MISSION.

• Drive Test Execution: Plan and perform comprehensive validation tests on new and existing products. Set up, operate, and optimize lab equipment, test rigs, and automation tools to deliver safe, accurate results on schedule.
• Analyze Data & Findings: Record and interpret performance data to spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Produce clear, actionable reports and partner with engineers to solve complex problems and ensure product quality.
• Innovate Processes: Continuously refine and document test procedures. Identify and implement improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy, including developing automated testing workflows and advanced data visualization.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product designers, engineers, and project managers throughout the development cycle. Contribute QA expertise to design reviews, risk assessments, and sprint planning to accelerate product launches.
• Enable New Product Introductions: Support the full NPI process by proactively testing prototypes and verifying design updates. Anticipate risks, suggest solutions, and drive quality from concept to launch.
• Manage Equipment & Logistics: Coordinate logistics for test materials, prototypes, fixtures, and tools. Track inventory and maintenance schedules to guarantee all resources are ready and accessible when needed.

• Must be a Singapore Citizen / PR and a Credit Bearing Internship from a Local University

• Currently a full time student and undertaking a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Able to commit to a full 6 months internship, 5 days a week.
• Great if you have experience in QA, test engineering, NPI, engineering support and/or product validation.
• Proficiency with test instrumentation, data acquisition, and analysis tools (e.g., Python, Notebook, Excel, lab equipment, automation software).
• Practical experience with mechanical, electrical and electronic systems in a laboratory, manufacturing and/or R&D environment
• Sharp analytical skills and a knack for solving complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Bonus: Experience with automated test frameworks and a passion for sports technology or tech innovation.
