This internship offers hands-on exposure to core HR functions in a fast-paced hospitality environment, while contributing to a positive Team Member experience across the hotel.</span></p><p><span data-teams="true">This role is ideal for students seeking <strong>practical HR experience as part of their academic program</strong>, with opportunities to develop professional skills, gain insight into hotel HR operations, and work closely with leaders across departments.</span></p><hr><h3><span data-teams="true"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></h3><ul><li><span data-teams="true">Support the coordination and execution of HR projects and departmental initiatives</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Provide administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources team and leadership</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Assist the HR Coordinator with recruitment, onboarding, and new hire documentation</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Maintain regular communication with departments involved in HR activities and initiatives</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Support internal recognition programs and Team Member engagement events</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Draft and prepare correspondence on behalf of the department</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Manage incoming and outgoing mail, documentation, and departmental communications</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Maintain organized and accurate filing systems (physical and electronic)</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Assist with general HR documentation, record-keeping, and data entry</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Monitor and maintain HR office supplies</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Attend required meetings and prepare meeting minutes as assigned</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Report unsafe conditions and follow all emergency and safety procedures</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Uphold Hilton brand standards, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations</span></li></ul><h3><span data-teams="true"><strong>Eligibility Requirement (Mandatory)</strong></span></h3><p><span data-teams="true">To be eligible for this internship, candidates <strong>must</strong>:</span></p><ul><li><span data-teams="true">Be <strong>currently enrolled in a college or university program</strong>, and</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Be completing this internship <strong>as a formal requirement of their academic degree, diploma, or co-op program</strong></span></li></ul><p><span data-teams="true">Proof of enrollment and program requirements may be requested.</span></p><hr><h3><span data-teams="true"><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></span></h3><ul><li><span data-teams="true">Enrollment in a post-secondary program related to Human Resources, Business, Hospitality, or a related field</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Strong communication and interpersonal skills</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Strong organizational and time-management skills</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic workplace</span></li><li><span data-teams="true">Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook</span></li></ul><p><i><span data-teams="true">Previous experience in HR or hospitality is an asset but not required.</span></i></p><p><br><br><strong>What will it be like to work for Hilton?</strong></p><p>Hilton is the leading global hospitality company, spanning the lodging sector from luxurious full-service hotels and resorts to extended-stay suites and mid-priced hotels.
