The Role

The Networking Co-op Student will assist the IT department in maintaining and improving network infrastructure. This role provides hands-on experience in networking technologies, troubleshooting, and system administration within a public-sector environment.

Term

Please note that the anticipated term of employment will be:

  • May 4, 2026 – August 28, 2026

Successful candidates will be expected to be available for the full duration of the employment term.

Mandatory Orientation

Additionally, all student employees must be available to attend mandatory orientation, which will be scheduled as follows:

  • Monday, May 4, 2026

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Networking or Information Technology program at an accredited college.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and network protocols.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or M365 including SharePoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Hours of Work

  • 35 hours per week
  • 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
