ADR interns are responsible for identifying and qualifying new opportunities for our sales organization.</p> <p>We view our Sales Development program as the best way to turbocharge a long and successful career in sales and view our Account Development Interns as the next wave of Account Development Representatives at MongoDB.</p> <h3>Job Responsibilities:</h3> <ul> <li>Identify and engage potential prospects through outbound activities (cold calling, emailing, and strategic outreach) alongside your ADR mentor&nbsp;</li> <li>Review, validate, and update data in Salesforce</li> <li>Analyze customer accounts to uncover strategic initiatives where MongoDB could add value</li> <li>Build targeted contact lists for sales prospecting utilizing tools such as Linkedin Sales Navigator, Lusha and ZoomInfo</li> <li>Observe qualification and discovery calls to learn how current ADRs uncover customer needs</li> <li>Collaborate with ADRs and mentors to enhance prospecting strategies and best practices</li> </ul> <h3>What you will learn:</h3> <ul> <li>How to execute the research, messaging and discovery phases of a sales campaign</li> <li>How to use outbound prospecting tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Lusha&nbsp;</li> <li>The value MongoDB delivers as a Developer Data Platform and the business challenges it solves</li> <li>Hands-on experience with modern sales strategies and execution including: How to identify an ideal customer profile (ICP) and craft messaging to developer, engineering, architecture and IT decision making personas.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications:</h3> <ul> <li>Must be within one year of final graduation from an accredited University at the time of the internship&nbsp;</li> <li>Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Technology, or Social Sciences etc.)&nbsp;</li> <li>A demonstrated interest in building a career in Sales through relevant coursework or previous experience relating to sales</li> <li>Previous experience working in a customer service role is a plus</li> <li>The ability to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>This is a full time internship position. Ideal candidates should be able to work 40 hours per week. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location.
