About The Company
Fraunhofer IGD is the international leading institute for applied research in visual computing. Visual computing is image- and model-based information technology and includes computer graphics and computer vision, as well as virtual and augmented reality. In simple terms, the Fraunhofer researchers in Darmstadt, Rostock, and Kiel are turning information into images and extracting information from images. In cooperation with its partners, technical solutions and market-relevant products are created. Prototypes and integrated solutions are developed in accordance with customized requirements. About the Role

Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon technology ISIT is one of Europe's most modern research facilities for microelectronics and microsystems technology. Centerpiece of the institute is the clean room facility for the development and production of microchips in industrial scale. About 190 scientists develop in close collaboration with industrial partners components of power electronics and microsystems engineering at ISIT.

In an apprenticeship, as Bachelor- or Master’s graduate, as student assistance, in an internship, during your dissertation or promotion, in science, technology or in administration (e. g. purchase, controlling, marketing or human resource department) – become part of our team!

 

What you bring to the table

  • initiative, ability to work in a team, willingness to communicate and an independent way of working
  • very good knowledge of MS Office is an advantage
  • initial experience in the area relevant to you is desirable, but not essential
  • very good command of written and spoken English/German

Positions are initially limited to 6 months, but we are often interested in longer-term employment.
The monthly working hours are 45, 60 or 80 hours. It is possible to work full time during the semester break.
The location is Itzehoe or Kiel.
