About the Role
You will support the heart of our data operations. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing operational support for the network/telecom team and ensuring flawless data center operations. Attending coordination and project review meetings to determine and meet communication needs and project schedules. Coordinating with external communication installers on ambitious projects. Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of communication rooms are strictly upheld. Documenting processes and procedures meticulously. Collaborating with your reporting manager on building and assisting with site project reviews. Suggesting proven methods to improve supported services. Collaborating exceptionally well with other IT and facilities teams, and assisting with the daily operations and coordination in the data centers. Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Cannot graduate before September 2026. Basic networking knowledge, including console access, link states, and basic switchport configuration concepts. Outstanding written communication, careful documentation skills, and attentive listening abilities. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Telephony skills, such as adherence to NEC regulations for cable applications, and familiarity with cable installation, termination, and testing standards. Low voltage certification. Understanding of BICSI fiber optic standards. Understanding of IEEE power standards.
