Position Summary

Ruoff Mortgage is looking for an Analytics & Capital Markets Intern for Summer 2026. Our internship program runs from Wednesday, May 20th - Friday, August 7th. This position will work closely with the Analytics team to gather secondary market research, design reporting models, and report the results. Additionally, this position will assist the Lock Desk and the process of selling loans.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from a variety of sources
• Assist analytics team in reporting suite management (PowerBI)
• Design ad-hoc reports based on requests from various departments
• Analyze and process submitted new rate lock, lock extension, and/or reprice requests
• Analyze current mortgage-backed securities market conditions and reprice rate sheets and locked/unlocked loans accordingly
• Develop efficient ways to present and maintain data
• Maintain a professional image and standards consistent with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for a high level of confidentiality and security while handling personal information; verbal and/or written documentation
• Perform other support/administrative tasks as requested

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products- Excel, Word, and Outlook; PowerBI a plus
• Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and broad communication skills are essential

• Professional atmosphere in both an open work environment
• Routinely uses office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinet and fax machine.

The Ruoff Mortgage Internship Program is designed to be engaging, hands-on, and rewarding. Along the way, interns enjoy networking opportunities, community volunteer events, team outings, and wrap up the summer by showcasing their work in a group project presentation, making it a memorable and meaningful experience from start to finish!
