Your New Role…
The Marketing & PR (TV Channels) Placement Interns will support various Warner Bros. Discovery teams with their marketing, PR and comms campaigns across all new and existing content.
There are a variety of Placement positions within the Marketing & PR (Linear Channels) division across Kids, Networks, Streaming and Social teams, therefore the below job description is not exhaustive of all activities you may undertake during your internship.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Planning, securing and executing prominent and positive PR for the company, brands and channels across both Trade and Consumer for Warner Bros Discovery EMEA kids, working across kids brands such as Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito and Boing.
- Manage press clipping archive, clipping reports and monitor media.
- Internal Comms: organise speaker sessions for Insights With Impact, internal screenings, and Kids days and manage Kids EMEA Workplace posts
- Support the organisation in growing Warner Bros. Discovery’s Kids brands in EMEA - both platform brands (e.g. Cartoon Network) as well as show brands (e.g. Gumball, Teen Titans Go) supporting the brand management and marketing team.
- Collaborate on the ongoing development of key brands and assist in the delivery of EMEA initiatives and marketing & communications campaigns.
- Support the PR team to maximise the engagement in TV shows across discovery+ and the portfolio of linear channels including Discovery Channel, Really and Quest.
- Daily monitoring of news and identifying opportunities for innovation and creativity.
- Supporting the publicity teams in the co-ordination and organisation of all publicity activities, including press interview access, set visits, screenings and unique stunted activities.
- Identify opportunities for us to create brilliant and exciting content for our social and digital platforms, to promote our television and streaming shows (e.g. 90 Day Fiancé UK, Richard Hammond’s Workshop, Man Vs Food, Say Yes To The Dress, Wheeler Dealers) across our brands, which include discovery+, Discovery, TLC, Food Network, Really and Quest.
Qualifications & Experience…
- You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2028.
- Passionate about our brands (Cartoon Network, Cartoonito, Discovery+, TLC, Food Network, Quest etc.).
- Well-organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- A positive attitude, a creative open mind and a calm demeanour.
- Familiarity with social platforms and trends.
- Interested in a career in marketing, brand management, Publicity or comms.
The Internship…
- Salary: £27,000 p/a
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Start Date: 6th July 2026
- You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

Next Steps…
- Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 1st February (you will not be able to apply after this date).
- Stage 2: For eligible candidates, you will be invited to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 8th February.
- Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in February.
- Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews will take place in April.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
