Our team at the BMW Group develops the latest generation of telematics solutions for customer vehicles. We focus on innovative validation and test automation to ensure premium connectivity and quality for BMW ConnectedDrive.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will support developing and documenting concepts for flexible hardware test setups.
  • Furthermore, you help design methods for automated state detection and behavioral analysis of control units.
  • In addition, you contribute to identifying and implementing approaches for detecting anomalies in operational behavior.
  • Moreover, you will assist in selecting relevant test cases and adapting them for automated test scenarios in collaboration with the project team.
  • You will help to develop concepts for automated evaluation of test results and define evaluation guidelines.
  • Furthermore, you support the targeted use and evaluation of modern AI tools for test automation and quality assurance.
  • You will gain insights into the testing and development processes of telematics control units as part of a dynamic, intercultural team.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or a comparable technical qualification.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python for test automation and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and ECU testing is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in common development tools such as Git and Jira.
  • Ideally, initial experience with AI-based development tools and their use in software development.
  • Ideally, knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD processes.
  • Fluent in business English, ideally fluent in German.
