MARSHALLTOWN is recruiting Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Interns or Co-ops for Summer/Fall 2026 or Spring/Summer 2027 at our Marshalltown, IA location. You will work in a fast-paced, fun and rewarding environment with people who will appreciate your contribution. You will gain hands-on Engineering experience in process improvement, cost reduction and documentation projects.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Review process flow using Lean Manufacturing principles (Kanban, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping)
  • Work with current manufacturing and shipping processes to recommend improvements or enhancements.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Involvement in implementation of new processes

Qualifications


Qualifications of the Position Include:

  • Currently pursuing a four-year degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Current Junior or Senior, preferred
  • An interest in manufacturing processes.
  • Previous co-op or internship experience, preferred (with experience in manufacturing, strongly preferred.)
  • Strong analytical skills and computer skills preferred (Microsoft Office, PowerBi, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Drive and originality.
  • Must possess an eye for detail in all work.
