This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic analysis and competitive intelligence within the rapidly evolving obesity treatment landscape. You will help monitor external market dynamics and provide insights that inform Kailera’s strategic decisions.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Required location: Waltham, MA (hub-based, onsite 3-4 days per week)&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Track competitor activities, regulatory updates, and emerging innovations in obesity treatment.</li> <li>Prepare and distribute timely alerts on relevant news developments to senior leadership</li> <li>Analyze competitor earnings calls and highlight key takeaways and strategic implications</li> <li>Develop a comprehensive document summarizing major themes in the obesity market and propose strategic recommendations for Kailera</li> <li>Maintain and update competitive intelligence trackers and databases</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate student currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Business, Economics, or related field</li> <li>Strong interest in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and obesity treatment innovation</li> <li>Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills</li> <li>Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree candidates who have completed 2+ years and are pursuing a degree in life sciences or business</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span data-teams="true"><strong>For Internship Roles:</strong> The hourly rate has been determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, location, and internal equity.
