Position Overview

Our Summer Internship Program is your gateway to gaining hands-on experience in the banking industry, building professional skills and advancing your career—all while being part of a dynamic team.

As an intern, you will actively contribute to meaningful projects, receive mentorship from industry professionals and participate in a comprehensive development program designed to support both your professional and personal growth.

2026 Available Internship Opportunities

Accounting

Working with our Accounting team, the Accounting intern will assist with accounts payable processing and general ledger account reconciliations while gaining hands-on exposure to the Bank’s financial operations. In addition to supporting month-end close and internal controls, you’ll assist with ad-hoc projects and special assignments that provide broader exposure to accounting processes and reporting.
Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required. 

Business Intelligence

Working with our Business Intelligence team, you’ll partner with internal Bank teams to deliver data-driven insights through business reporting and analytics using the Power BI platform. You’ll contribute to AI use case development and deployment leveraging technologies such as OpenAI, AWS and other cloud-based tools, while gaining hands-on development experience using Python to support automation, analysis and reporting initiatives.
Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or a related field required.

Commercial Credit

Working with our Commercial Credit team, you’ll gain exposure to commercial loan underwriting, portfolio management and credit analysis. Projects include assisting with annual reviews, supporting underwriting activities and conducting data integrity reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency across credit files.
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field preferred.

Commercial Lending

As a Commercial Lending intern, you’ll support the documentation lifecycle of commercial loans while assisting with documentation management and data integrity reviews. This role offers insight into lending operations and regulatory best practices.
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business or a related field preferred.

Deposit Operations

Working with our Deposit Operations team, you’ll complete a debit card dollar limit and transaction limit review project. This includes analyzing customer usage, evaluating risk management considerations, developing recommendations and implementing approved limit adjustments. In addition, you’ll assist with daily operational tasks during the summer vacation months.
Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance or a related field preferred.

IT Support / Operations

Working with our IT team, you’ll review and update the Bank’s Knowledge Base articles to ensure accuracy, relevance and usability. Projects include researching needed updates, revising existing KBs and developing new documentation to support technology operations. This role blends technical support exposure with technical writing and documentation management.
Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field required.

Marketing

Working with our Marketing team, you’ll help deliver and analyze digital marketing campaigns focused on family banking, collegiate banking and digital banking adoption. You’ll gain hands-on experience with campaign execution, performance analysis and digital engagement strategies.
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field preferred.

Risk
Working with our Risk team, you’ll gain hands-on experience using a leading financial crime monitoring platform to support fraud prevention and regulatory compliance efforts. You’ll learn how the Bank uses the system in day-to-day operations while helping to improve reporting dashboards and management reports. This role offers exposure to risk management practices and provides opportunities to apply problem-solving and analytical skills to support the Bank’s overall risk program.
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management or a related field preferred. 

Requirements

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and contribute. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university and actively pursuing a four-year undergraduate degree in a related field
• Be a rising junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
• Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Have reliable transportation to our Main Office at 20 Eastman St., South Easton, MA
• Be able to operate basic office equipment and perform physical tasks such as typing, writing and lifting up to 20 pounds when necessary
• Be able to work in a professional office environment and maintain focus in a fast-paced setting
