Summer trainee, IT solution management

to our IT RP (Renewable Products) Department team in Espoo, Finland. We are a team of 27 professionals dedicated to manage and develop the solutions for Neste Renewables Business Unit.

Your role during the summer

You will support your team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in IT solutions, architecture and end user communication. 

As a Summer Trainee, your focus is to enable Neste employees to have better access to the various IT documentation they need for their work. The documentation includes: IT guidelines, instructions, functional and technical solution documentation, process and architecture descriptions. You will be creating an inventory of existing documentation, categorizing the documentation, designing the appropriate approach to make it generally accessible, exploring the possibilities AI tools give to improve accessibility and usability and create the technical implementation to meet the desired accessibility. 

The best combination to succeed in this role

  • You are currently studying or have studied Information Systems or a similar, relevant field.

  • Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English

  • General knowledge of IT architecture and systems, enabling you to do make the document classification 

  • Some experience or knowledge about usability and/or design thinking

  • Some experience in coding, enabling to make modest technical adjustments

  • Interest in AI assisted

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
