What are your contributions to the team?

  • Support the programmers in identifying improvement opportunities and in the development of new tool features and web development.
  • Aid in the investigation (debugging) of applications.
  • Support various internal tasks, initiatives, and projects.

 

Design engineering processes for new products, you will participate in:

 

  • Analyze data, map and analyze existing processes
  • Suggest improvements to boost efficiency, quality and reduce cost
  • Set up trainings and prepare training material
  • Test new design and planning methodologies

 

Participate in the project management. This includes:

 

  • Coordinate activities, plannings and deliverables
  • Liaise between multidisciplinary product design teams (structures, electrical and mechanical systems, projects, etc.)
  • Manage suppliers

How to thrive in this role?

  • You are a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year university or master's student;
  • You are curious and ready to explore new disciplines related to engineering
  • You are stimulated by an evolving collaborative environment
  • You are organized and have analytical and synthesis skills
  • You have good communication and presentation skills
  • You are autonomous and you like to work in a team
  • You are interested in the PLM environment and computer-aided design (CAD). Catia V5 is an asset.
  • You have a good knowledge of the Office suite, SharePoint is an asset

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
