Overview
Stellar Solutions, a nationally recognized “Great Place To Work,” has a unique and exciting internship opportunity for a college student to contribute to our Intelligence Sector. This full-time, short-term internship (May–August 2026) is designed for a highly motivated engineering student who is ready to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges while supporting critical national security programs.
This role offers the opportunity to learn how Stellar Solutions delivers world-class engineering support to the Intelligence Sector. The successful candidate will be working toward a career in engineering, intelligence, or national security, and will gain exposure to how cleared talent and advanced technologies are applied to solve critical missions.
The Intel Sector operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is seeking a motivated, personable, and energetic individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow.
Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications
Responsibilities:
The Intelligence Sector Intern will develop modern collaboration methods to support internal and external coordination and reporting, leading to greater efficiencies across the Stellar Intel team. The intern will also identify new tools and capabilities to improve internal communication and management of cleared talent. In addition, the selected candidate will participate in proposal support efforts, which may occasionally require evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
In addition to daily assignments, the intern will be expected to provide weekly, quarterly, and end-of-internship project reports that capture knowledge gained and contributions made.
Required qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Engineering program, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
- Junior or Senior standing with core engineering courses completed
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.5 (official transcripts required)
- Demonstrated leadership experience (e.g., team lead in engineering projects, related activities, or student organizations)
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Availability to work full-time (32–40 hours per week) from May (or June) through August 2026 (12-week Summer Internship)
Compensation and Benefits:
The internship paid compensation is USD$28.00 per hour. As part of the Stellar Solutions team, the intern will be invited to participate in local employee gatherings.
