About the Role:
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing team in executing campaigns, creating content, and enhancing brand visibility for Emerge Living. This role provides hands-on experience in social media management, digital marketing, event promotion, and market research. This program is designed to teach marketing activities, how to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain practical skills in strategy, communication, and creative development within a professional marketing environment with an emphasis on digital marketing.

- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva for graphic design projects
- Knowledge of Basic HTML, Email Marketing, Website CMS, Google Analytics
- Understanding of Marketing Automation and Sales CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce etc.)
- Expertise with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software and systems
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Professional demeanor, reliability, and a guest-service mindset.

What You’ll Do: (Responsibilities)
- Assist in the planning and execution of corporate marketing campaigns, including social media, digital content, and email marketing.
- Support employer branding projects such as LinkedIn Life page updates, Glassdoor/Indeed campaigns, and career fair collateral.
- Conduct market research on hospitality and competitor trends to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing and HR teams to create recruitment and internship program branding materials (videos, flyers, presentations).
- Partner with properties on digital asset collection (photos, testimonials, logos) for use in corporate communications.
- Help coordinate event marketing support for leadership conferences, intern programs, and community engagement activities.
- Draft copy for internal and external channels (social posts, newsletters, career pages).
- Assist with reporting and analytics, tracking engagement and performance of digital campaigns.
