About the Role
Overview

POSITION: IT Project Support and Analytics Internship (Summer 2026 Term – 4 months)

LOCATION: Mississauga, ON 

COMPENSATION: $25-28 per hour

Responsibilities

This role will be split into two main focus areas:  IT Project Support and Analytics

 

IT Project Support (Primary Focus)

  • Support project plan development, monitoring and tracking project schedule, and tracking issues and risks.
  • Oversee creation and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Consult with development team and vendors during development phase to provide requirements and feedback
  • Support the development of UAT test cases with the use of a Traceability Matrix
  • Support project Go-Live, troubleshoot issues and help develop solutions

Analytics (Secondary Focus)

  • Consult with Business Partners to provide key data insights using various Business Intelligence tools

Qualifications

  • Motivated learner enrolled in a Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or IT related program
  • Previous work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role preferred
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies
  • Solid communication, organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management required
  • Strong skills in developing presentations and reports
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Knowledge of SQL required
  • Experience in Analytics from conception to delivery an asset
  • Working experience with dashboarding (e.g., Business Objects, Power BI) is an asset.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to build collaborative relationships!
