About the Role

Responsibilities:

As an EA Intern supporting the Audit & Assurance team at Deloitte, you will assist in audit engagements and gain practical experience in financial statement audit processes. You’ll support audit teams with fieldwork, review documentation and help with basic audit procedures while learning the structure of audit reports and industry terminology.

Details:

Support Audit Fieldwork

  • Assist audit teams during fieldwork at client locations, including checking financial documents and audit evidence.
  • Prepare administrative tasks prior to fieldwork (e.g., organizing files, logistics preparation).

Financial and Document Review

  • Check financial statements and other audit deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
  • Review and proof-read audit reports, proposals, and working papers when assigned.
  • Manage basic audit documentation and ensure files are audit-ready.

Administrative and Support Tasks

  • Help with simple administrative procedures (e.g., confirmation letters, document translation).
  • Communicate with internal departments to gather necessary documents or information.
  • Assist with office work in preparing materials for audit and client deliverables.

Data and Analysis Support

  • Assist in consolidating, checking, and analyzing numerical data as needed by the audit team.
  • Conduct research and data gathering to support audit planning or reporting.
  • Review and double-check audit figures prior to final review to help ensure accuracy before issuance.

Requiries:

  • Currently a university student (junior/senior year) majoring in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, Commerce or related fields.
  • Good command of English (verbal and written) and Vietnamese.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable with basic data handling and Excel use.
