Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking an Asset Management and Operations Summer Intern to join the Miami team and support its rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Asset Management and Operations Summer Intern will support both the operational performance and long-term strategy of the Little River Miami project. This role provides hands-on exposure to financial analysis, reporting, market research, and cross-functional coordination.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Operations Support

  • Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance for the Little River property, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with creating and maintaining dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI trackers to support leadership decision-making
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts related to ongoing operations, capital projects, and new initiatives
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform pricing strategies, operational planning, and project positioning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, improve operating processes, and support scalable property operations
  • Help optimize existing systems and tools by improving workflows and ensuring accurate data capture
  • Support day-to-day tenant interactions by responding to inquiries, assisting with lease or operational questions, and helping ensure a positive tenant experience through timely communication and issue resolution

Asset Management Support

  • Assist in the review and analysis of financial statements, weekly forecasts, performance reports, and benchmarking tools
  • Support periodic reviews of leases, operating agreements, and other project-level documents to ensure key obligations and requirements are understood and tracked
  • Help prepare lender, investor, and ownership-level reporting by gathering data, validating accuracy, and formatting presentations or schedule
  • Work with internal teams (including Accounting and Capital Markets) to ensure alignment between property performance, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Participate in maintaining and updating financial models used to evaluate asset-level strategies, reinvestment opportunities, and long-term performance scenarios
  • Contribute to identifying operational inefficiencies and developing recommendations to improve profitability and asset value 

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE

AJCP is seeking a highly-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment. This role also requires the following capabilities: 

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Excel required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in real estate, operations, asset management, or hospitality 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Economics, Hospitality, or a related field
