These programs include: ServingTogether, which coordinates a network of resources for veterans, service members and their families; crisis prevention and intervention services for the entire community; case management and counseling services for children, youth, adults and families; Linkages to Learning, which provides school-based mental health services for at-risk students and families; Representative Payee, which helps individuals with a disability or mental illness manage their finances; and Friendly Visitor, which combats loneliness and isolation among older adults.

The Clinical Impact Intern at EveryMind will support the evaluation and continuous improvement of our mental health services through data analysis, research, and quality improvement initiatives. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside clinical leaders and impact-focused teams to help strengthen programs serving underserved communities. Interns gain meaningful, hands-on experience in program evaluation, clinical operations, and nonprofit best practices while contributing to a mission-driven organization committed to advancing mental wellness and community impact.

Schedule:  8-16 hours/week (M–F, 9:00am–5:00pm) 
Location:  Hybrid, Rockville, MD Office

 

Key Responsibilities 

As a Clinical Impact Intern, you'll play a hands-on role in shaping the quality and effectiveness of mental health services.  

  • Develop policies and procedures  

  • Analyze outcome data  

  • Contribute to program quality improvement initiatives  

  • Explore innovative approaches used by top non-profits in clinical program evaluation 

  • Conduct research on best practices in data collection, program monitoring, and clinical operations.

  • QA/QC, Program Performance and Impact colleagues  

Qualifications


Qualifications 

  • Must be enrolled in a BA/BS or Masters level program in Social Work, Public Health, or a related field. 

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively with multicultural, immigrant, and low-income families. 

  • Commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics. 

  • Reliable, flexible, and able to collaborate in a school-based environment.
