As an intern with ALSO you get to work on our next generation of products while gaining valuable knowledge about how world class mobility products are made. We are fine tuning our TM-B products and our vision is to continue improving the product as well as integrating it to other devices that the customer owns. We are providing the ALSO mobile applications for iOS and Android and this internship is all about how this can be expanded to other wearables.
What You Will Do
You'll prototype the next generation of Also experience extending beyond mobile phones into wearable devices.
You'll learn from experienced engineers while contributing to real product features that impact customers and our connected fleet
Collaborate with firmware engineers and backend engineers to make fully running versions of wearable demonstrators
Get out there and test & dogfood the software, promote within the company and gather feedback that you will iterate on.
Contribute and document next steps for a potential full product launch of the built demonstrators.
Work with product managers and designers to maximize the product benefit of the produced code for the wearable device.
What You Will Bring
Mobile developer background with wearables or BLE peripheral experience
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or a related field with an expected graduation date in 2027
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience with embedded firmware, audio, maps, fitness/health apps or AR are highly praised.
Preferred Experience
Swift and Kotlin highly desirable skills and C/C++ firmware is also favorable.
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $30.00 to $45.00/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
