About the Role

Are you a hard-working and dedicated engineer and an inquisitive problem solver? If so, then Tektronix might be the place for you! We are seeking a Spring 2026 Co-Op to join our Hardware Verification team! As part of the team, Co-Ops will be empowered to preform various hardware verification tasks. We strive to provide experience within embedded firmware, instrument interfaces/communication protocols, software and customer use case testing.

Requirements:

  • Build test plan definitions, developing test methods, and test execution to ensure the products meet functional requirements.
  • We will give interns an opportunity to collaborate with Design and Test Engineering on product conformance issues.
  • This intern will use software and firmware on simplified customer devices.
  • We will empower you to be responsible for design test fixtures and develop automated test software.
  • Be challenged to select the appropriate test tools and equipment to be used for specified test efforts.

Qualifications: 
 

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field as part of an accredited undergraduate co-op program.
    (Note: This position is designed for undergraduate students participating in a Bachelor’s-level co-op. Students in graduate programs may be considered for future opportunities.)
  • Ability to work for the 2026 Spring-Summer season (January-August)
  • Possesses a general knowledge of analog/digital hardware concepts and theory with a passion to apply it to real world scenarios
  • We look for candidates who will challenge themselves to gain a better understanding of precision and general test measurement equipment.
  • Ideally candidate will have a background or curiosity about statistics.
  • Structured problem solving background/interest would be ideal

Pay Range
The hourly salary range for this position in local currency is $20-40.
