What you'll do



Docusign is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic intern to work with its corporate affairs team. The intern will have exposure to programs across sustainability, social impact and government affairs, and will be part of Docusign’s legal department.

 

This paid internship is for Summer 2026.

 

The position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Vice President, Corporate Affairs.
 

Responsibility

  • Contribute to internal projects working across corporate affairs functions, gaining exposure to multiple aspects of the business

  • Research, analyze and share assessments of industry, political and policy issues

  • Develop thought leadership materials targeted for government audiences, including contributing to public comment opportunities

  • Support ad-hoc projects and playbooks on sustainability reporting and social impact programs

  • Assist in the development of communications and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders on corporate affairs programs, including Docusign.org, our sustainability initiatives, and our work with government policymakers

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and client progress, ensuring effective communication within the team



Job Designation



Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring



Basic

  • Candidate must be a full-time student pursuing a degree in Public Policy, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Graduating December 2026, May/June 2027

Preferred

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill information and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments

  • Experience creating communications and presentation materials 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Interest and willingness to embrace new technologies to help further operationalize team processes



Wage Transparency



Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

 

California: $38/hour - $47/hour
