We actively seek individuals who share our commitment to working together to achieve our mission, creating an environment where everyone's voice is heard and respected</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Your Role</strong></p> <p>As a Visiting Investment Analyst (intern) with NLC’s Venture Finance team, you’ll be involved in the exciting world of investment transactions and mergers &amp; acquisition (M&amp;A) within our diverse portfolio.</p> <p>Your Activities and responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Involvement in investment deals and M&amp;A within NLC’s portfolio</li> <li>Assisting in the preparation and execution of investment rounds for portfolio companies</li> <li>Participating in due diligence activities, likely including financial analysis, market research, and legal review</li> <li>Conducting research on market trends and competitive landscapes</li> <li>Contributing to the development of investment proposals and business plans</li> <li>Creating and delivering presentations related to investment opportunities and portfolio companies</li> <li>Participating in various internal projects within the Venture Finance team</li> <li>Working closely with experienced investment professionals, industry experts, and CEOs of portfolio companies</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Your Profile&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We are looking for a high-potential<strong> Master’s student </strong>who has:</p> <ul> <li>Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills</li> <li>An affinity for / interest in venture capital, entrepreneurship and start-ups</li> <li>A background in economics, business, finance, entrepreneurship, innovation sciences, or a similar field of study</li> <li>An eye for detail, but also the ability to see the big picture</li> <li>Adaptive capabilities in a constantly changing environment</li> <li>Excellent team player</li> <li>Full professional proficiency in English</li> <li>Previous (internship) experience in corporate finance, venture capital, private equity and/or (strategy) consultancy is a plus</li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>The right to work in the Netherlands (we do not have the capacity to offer relocation support nor visa sponsorship)</strong></li> <li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Please note that to be considered for this internship, you must provide either a UNL or Nuffic agreement from your university.
