Intern - Risk Management (f/m/d)

Your area of work:

As an Intern in Risk Management, you will have an excellent opportunity to explore the risk management function of a banking institution and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company and dynamic team. You will be part of a multicultural team and be actively taking part in our processes, while we are offering you diverse, interesting, and above all challenging tasks. 
 

Your responsibilities:

• Support the risk management team on the monitoring and maintenance of the Clearstream Risk Management Framework documents based on Deutsche Börse Group standards.
• Assist the team in development, implementation and maintenance of the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and related governance framework.
• Support the credit risk monitoring area in the development of automated solutions to perform daily monitoring activities.
• Support coordination with different stakeholders in daily activities.
• Assist in developing innovative ad-hoc solutions to improve team efficiency.

Your profile:

• You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement OR have graduated with a bachelor’s degree or similar for no more than 6 months.
• Prior experience in Risk Management, preferably in an international financial environment would be a valuable asset.
• Knowledge of Power BI and automated solutions to elaborate ad hoc requests.
• Very good analytical skills, creativity, critical thinking and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
• Very good presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Any other language would be an asset.
