About the Role

Overview

  • Reporting to the Controller, Finance.
  • The intern will be responsible for Finance department in day-to-day financial operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
  • This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in finance and accounting functions within a nonprofit organization.
  • The intern will be involved in Travel expenses tracking, financial reporting, invoice processing, and providing support for audit preparation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review Travel & expense report in CR.
  • Clear bank transactions in SAP.
  • File T&E and other financial documents.
  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining financial documents such as invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial reports.
  • Prepare input VAT documents for VAT filing.
  • Handle banking matters.
  • Provides ad hoc project support.

 

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a university student in accounting. The candidate has completed basic accounting course study.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial and accounting principles.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Programs – Microsoft Word & Excel are critical.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and reading English.

 

The frequency of working days

  • Three days per week.
