About the Role

MUBI is a rapidly growing global streaming service curating the world’s best cinema. Each film is hand-picked and presented by in-house experts; each film is one we truly believe in. This includes acquiring titles for exclusive theatrical and online release.

We’re seeking a motivated student passionate about cinema beyond the multiplex to intern with our LATAM distribution team. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on content marketing, film programming and outreach projects, gaining hands-on experience in the process.

Dates: Feb - Aug 2026
Time commitment: 20 hours per week
Location: Mexico City (partial in-person)
We work hybrid-remote where we require 2 office days in Mexico City. Our core days are Tuesday and Thursday, with the flexibility to use our beautiful offices on the remaining days if you wish.

Where you'll have impact

  • Assist on release campaigns as needed (admin, invoicing, etc.)

  • Support the distribution team with film bookings and operations

  • Collate box office and performance reports, receipts and invoices

  • Develop strategies for content positioning and related initiatives

  • Circulate marketing materials to exhibitors and festivals

  • Support our distribution team with reports, tracking pending tasks, and assisting with overall project coordination

  • Assist with other day-to-day tasks as they arise
