The Asbury Collection is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Intern to support our marketing team during a key seasonal period. This role will assist across multiple properties and touchpoints, helping execute day-to-day marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with operations, events, and PR teams. This is a hands-on opportunity for a motivated self-starter to gain real-world experience in hospitality marketing while supporting the department.

Job Overview

Serves as the brand voice for the hotels’ digital communication channels. Introduces new and creative ways to reach audiences, and creates digital marketing campaigns to include social and CMS. Is the copywriter for the hotel’s website and blog platforms.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

    • Curate and design visually compelling graphics and customer-facing materials for events, advertising campaigns, and social media platforms
    • Assist in drafting and scheduling guest-facing emails for hotel stays, concerts, public events, and promotions
    • Proof and QA email content before deployment
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure events and activations are accurately promoted
    • Assist with social media scheduling, caption writing, and basic content planning
    • Attend weekly marketing meetings, taking notes and tracking action items
    • Help source and organize photo and video assets from events and activations
    • Ensure customer-facing materials are accurate, current, and aligned with daily operations
    • Help organize media visit schedules and coverage tracking
    • Assist sales team in marketing tactics for private events
    • Help maintain marketing calendars across properties including email sends, events, and promotions
    • Work alongside web development team to update events and offers online

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, communications, hospitality, or related program
  • Strong written communication skills with an eye for brand voice and detail
  • Interest in hospitality, lifestyle, music, events, and cultural marketing
  • Organized, reliable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Experience with email platforms, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a plus
