About the Role

STR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR department with company events and our internship program. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the HR Events Team Lead, gaining hands-on experience in event planning, program coordination, and day-to-day HR operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to build practical HR skills, contribute to meaningful employee experiences, and gain valuable industry insight in a dynamic, tech-focused environment.</p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist in planning, organizing, and executing employee events and activities</li> <li>Support the coordination and administration of STR’s internship program</li> <li>Help manage communications with interns and employees regarding events and program details</li> <li>Track participation, feedback, and outcomes for events and programs</li> <li>Partner with the HR Events Team Lead on special projects and initiatives</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or a related field</li> <li>Previous experience in a professional or office environment</li> <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)</li> <li>Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting</li> <li>Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>Exceptional organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail</li> <li>Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills</li> <li><strong><em>This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government.&nbsp;</em></strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>Additional Details: </strong></p> <p>The ideal candidate will be local to our Woburn, Massachusetts office and available to start part-time in March (8–12 hours per week), with flexibility to work remotely if needed. Following the completion of the academic year, the internship will transition to full-time (40 hours per week). At that point, the candidate should be able to work three days per week in the office with the option to work two days from home.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Pay Information</strong><br>Full-Time Salary Range: $45,000 - $58,000</p> <p><em>The salary range listed is based on external market data.
