About our group:

Seagate is hiring a Sales Analyst Intern to work with the Global OEM Sales Team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Global OEM Sales. The Global OEM Sales Team is known for its customer-focused and data-driven approach and works with partners in the data storage industry. The team provides a portfolio of storage solutions to global OEM partners and regularly defines and executes relevant strategies. This internship opportunity is open to candidates interested in joining the Seagate team. 

About the role - you will:

  • Provide analytical support to the Global OEM team, including data collection and analysis. 
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance data analytics and market analysis, supporting more informed decision-making and strategic planning. 
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI-driven insights into forecasting models and performance metrics. 
  • Coordinate data gathering and reporting activities with cross-functional teams such as Pricing, Marketing, and Operations. 
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Sales In and Sales Out forecasting models for the region. 
  • Support the creation and management of key performance metrics aligned with regional objectives. 
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation efforts related to reporting and data management. 
  • Prepare comprehensive data reports for executive business reviews and presentations, supporting the Senior Sales Director. 
  • Analyze sales and pricing trends to deliver actionable recommendations for organizational strategy. 
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team on Global OEM TAM, Outlook Numbers, and relevant files. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for regional reporting and data requirements. 
  • Deliver market trend insights to sales teams to inform customer engagement strategies. 
  • Generate ad hoc reports and custom data outputs as requested. 
  • Develop spreadsheets and presentations that clearly communicate data analysis findings. 
  • Foster collaborative relationships and provide timely, accurate, and professional operational support as required. 

About you:

Your experience includes:

  • Possesses advanced computer proficiency. 
  • Applies analytical skills to interpret data and recommend solutions or strategies. 
  • Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Experience using AI tools for data analysis or market research is a plus. 
  • Skilled in analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to support business decisions. 
  • Experienced with tools like Salesforce and SAP for analytics, sales, and productivity. 
  • Proven problem-solving and project management abilities; comfortable working with ambiguity. 
  • Effective verbal and written communicator with both business and technical teams. 
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree and enrolled for Fall 2026.

The estimated base wage range for this position is $20 - $29.50/hr. The individual base wage is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Seagate offers comprehensive benefits to its eligible Interns, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, and participation in the employee stock purchase plan.  Seagate also offers Interns 12 paid holidays and a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave.

 

The benefits for this position are based on a 24 to 40-hour-per-week schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location and tenure with the Company.
