We focus on the development of shared services that support all of SoFi.&nbsp; Our team is broken into 4 major components: DevOps (product), SRE (focus on Highly Available systems, Resiliency, Automation) Security (Zero Trust and Perimeter) and End Point (User Devices).&nbsp; We are a highly collaborative organization focused on implementing good fundamentals and engineering practices.</p> <p>As a SoFi DevOps Engineering Intern, you won’t be sitting on the sidelines during your internship. You’ll be working as a full-time member of our Engineering team, focused every day on building products and features that fulfill our mission to help our members get their money right.&nbsp; You will be embedded on an agile DevOps team and help with identifying opportunities to eliminate/automate operational tasks.&nbsp; You will also contribute to design, development and deployment of new products and features.</p> <h1><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of SoFi members</li> <li>Design, develop, code, and test software systems, improvements, products, and user-facing experiences</li> <li>Work with multiple languages and frameworks including: <strong>Python, Terraform, Gitlab</strong></li> <li>Directly contribute to standard methodologies, architecture, and implementation</li> <li>Translate user stories into technical solutions</li> <li>Participate in design and code reviews</li> <li>Contribute to SoFi’s library of automated tests and overall testing infrastructure</li> <li>Work alongside DevOps Engineers, doing state-of-the-art development work&nbsp;</li> <li>Learn about new technologies, tools and processes that will build your skill set and help shape your career</li> <li>Present your summer project and work to SoFi’s senior leadership team</li> </ul> <h1><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></h1> <ul> <li><strong>Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or Spring 2027</strong></li> <li><strong>Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship</strong></li> <li><strong>Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles)</strong></li> <li><strong>Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office</strong></li> </ul> <ul> <li>Some experience writing Python and Gitlab/Terraform knowledge in a non-academic setting (internship, research roles, relevant projects, etc.)</li> <li>Solid understanding DevOps fundamentals and how to apply them in a coding environment</li> <li>Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems architecture</li> <li>Ability to quickly learn new languages and adopt new technologies, methods and processes in a fast-paced work environment</li> <li>Intellectual curiosity and an affinity for solving problems</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Internship Perks:</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Access to senior leadership, including exclusive Q&amp;A sessions with executives across all functions of SoFi</li> <li>Exclusive opportunities to contribute to a tech hackathon, to deliver a case study to the CEO, etc.&nbsp;</li> <li>Development sessions for career, financial, and professional growth</li> <li>Opportunities to participate in company wide events like All-Hands and SoFi circles programming</li> <li>Networking socials to connect with fellow interns</li> <li>SoFi swag giveaways</li> </ul> <p><strong>We offer incoming interns the flexibility to select from two potential start dates:</strong></p> <p><strong>Cohort 1 - Monday, June 1, 2026 - Friday, August 21, 2026<br></strong><strong>Cohort 2 - Monday, June 15, 2026 - Friday, September 4, 2026 </strong></p><div class="content-conclusion"><p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Why you'll love working here:</strong></p> <p style="font-weight: 400;">&gt;
