Software Engineer Internship Summer 2026 (Hybrid)

However, we are not able to sponsor visas or take over sponsorship at this time.</em></strong></p> <p><strong>About the role:</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be integrated into our core agile teams and work alongside Enova's engineers. Over a period of 10 weeks, you will partake in the full software development lifecycle and work on business initiatives that bring value to our consumers.&nbsp;</span></p> <p>Enova believes in education through total immersion. As one of our interns, you’ll begin your time with us learning the ropes in our intensive boot camp program. While working on high visibility projects, we will also provide you in depth training surrounding Ruby, Rails, GoLang, and other technologies and skills needed to become a successful full stack engineer.&nbsp;</p> <p>As a member of the Enova internship program, you will have the benefit of networking with other interns across the company through in-person or virtual team outings, lunches, and events. This summer, our interns went on an architecture tour, volunteered at the Anti Cruelty Society, had an event at Ace Bounce for ping pong, and wrapped up the summer with a presentation about their summer project(s).&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><em>This internship will begin June 15, 2026 - August 21, 2026. This role is hybrid and eligible candidates must be able to work in the Chicago office 3 days per week.</em></strong></p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Graduating Between: December 2026 - June 2027</li> <li>Local to the Chicagoland area or willing to relocate</li> </ul> <p><strong>We're excited about you if you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Are pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.</li> <li>Bring a passion for crafting exceptional code, using open source technologies, and continuous learning.</li> <li>Have experience with object oriented programming languages. The budgeted hourly rate for this position is $33.00 per hour for students pursuing a Bachelors degree and $37.00 per hour for students pursuing a Masters degree.</p> <p><strong>About Software Engineering:</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Our Software Engineering team is one of the largest in Chicago.
