About the Role

HPI Tenant Advisors (HPITA) is the premier tenant-representation platform in Central Texas, exclusively advising companies on their commercial real estate and facility needs. Our team represents a diverse client base across a broad scope of industries, advising organizations that range from early-stage companies to some of the world’s largest Fortune 50 enterprises. We are looking for exceptional interns to join us this spring / summer, develop a deeper understanding of our industry, and make contributions to our team. Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Please only apply if you meet the following requirements:

1. You reside in the Austin, TX area (February – May and/or June - August)

2. You are currently enrolled in college (Sophomores – Seniors).

3. You have your own reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.

4. You have a strong work ethic, professional demeanor, you are a critical thinker and are self-motivated

5. You ask questions at appropriate times, or you research subject matter on your own for deeper understanding.

6. You’re a strong communicator, you’re personable, and reliable.

  

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How does the selection process work? HPITA will field interest/resumes through the end of January for our Spring Intern position, with a planned start date in February. Upon reviewing resumes, applicants will be sent a project to complete alongside the interview process. Hiring decisions are made based on cover letters and resumes, the application, an interview (phone or in-person), and references (if applicable).

2. When does the program start and end? The Spring program will begin in February and run through the end of May. The Summer program will kick off in June and run through the end of August. 

3. What are the working hours? Working hours typically range from 20-30 hours per week, typically Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM with time for lunch. 

4. Have Interns ever been hired as full-time employees before? Yes! In the ideal case, our interns benefit as much as we do from the program. HPITA is always looking for rising talent and new heavy hitters in our industry.
