Job Description
The Audience Research & Analysis department is responsible for supporting NBCU’s international channels (Networks), content licensing (TVD) and production (Studios) businesses with audience based quantitative and qualitative reporting, insight and strategic analysis in all international territories across all content platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research:
- Be responsible for producing regular TV rating reports & VOD streaming reports
- Work with the programming team on the performance of key titles in Australia
- Assistance in working on project work, covering both Australia and New Zealand
- Ability to interpret data
- Program performance
- Writing of internal reports
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel (knowledge of Pivot Tables & Macros is desirable but not definitive)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organized with great prioritization skills
- Be a good communicator with an analytical mind and a desire to learn
- Understanding of the Australian & American media landscapes, particularly TV
- Python/JavaScript skills desirable but by no means essential and training can be provided
- This part time role requires a 9-month commitment, from Mid February 2026 - November 2026
- You also MUST include a cover letter stating the month and year you graduate, why you would like to work for NBCUniversal, and what you feel you can bring to the role. This is an integral of the application process

- Actively completing a business, economics or data science degree in 2026
