Core Responsibilities
The intern will conduct research in the field of physics of optically pumped solid-state lasers and nonlinear crystals, and design and construct experiments in spectroscopy, optics, and mechanics. They will also be responsible for the calculation and optimization of pump sources and laser resonators, as well as the analysis of critical parameters in laser systems.

We offer a total of 2 places for an internship in R&D in connection with the preparation of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis.

Job Description

  • Research in the field of physics of optically pumped solid-state lasers and nonlinear crystals
  • Design and construction of experiments in the fields of spectroscopy, optics and mechanics
  • Calculation and optimization of pump sources and laser resonators
  • Analysis of critical parameters in laser systems 
  • Technical documentation 

Qualification

  • You are studying physics, mathematics or a comparable course at a university or university of applied sciences.
  • In addition to initial experience in the fields of laser physics, optics and mechanics, you have a good basic technical understanding.
  • A good command of English, initiative and the ability to work in a team round off your profile.
