VC Analyst Intern

<p><strong>Wind is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst Intern to join our investment team in Paris and help us identify, evaluate, and support the most promising deeptech and climate tech startups in Europe.</strong></p> <p>You’ll work closely with our team of investors on every step of the process — from sourcing and market research to due diligence and portfolio support. <strong>This internship is a unique opportunity to dive deep into the VC world,</strong> explore frontier technologies, and play an active role in building a high-impact, high-conviction portfolio. </p> <p><strong>As of January 2026, while we’re not currently hiring, we’re happy to receive applications and keep them in mind for future openings.</strong></p> <h2 id="tasks">Tasks</h2> <p>As an intern on the investment team, you’ll be involved in every stage of the investment journey. <strong>Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p><strong>Sourcing &amp; Market Research</strong></p> </li> <li><p>Explore specific sectors in depth and map out the competitive landscape</p> </li> <li><p>Review inbound opportunities and help identify the most promising startups</p> </li> <li><p>Attend ecosystem events and grow meaningful relationships with founders and other investors</p> </li> <li><p><strong>Dealflow &amp; Investment Analysis</strong></p> </li> <li><p>Take part in due diligence and support key steps in the evaluation process</p> </li> <li><p>Write clear, insightful investment memos and internal recommendations</p> </li> <li><p>Help the team prepare for discussions and investment committee meetings</p> </li> <li><p><strong>Portfolio Support &amp; Internal Projects</strong></p> </li> <li><p>Assist in monitoring how portfolio companies are doing and support LP reporting</p> </li> <li><p>Contribute to ongoing strategic work—whether that’s building out investment theses, experimenting with AI tools, or supporting ESG initiatives</p> </li> </ul> <h2 id="requirements">Requirements</h2> <p>We’re open to candidates from a wide range of academic and professional paths—what matters most to us is how you think, not what you studied.</p> <p><strong>You might be a great fit if you…</strong></p> <ul> <li>Feel comfortable working in French (our daily language) and speak fluent English—additional languages are a big plus</li> <li>Enjoy breaking down complex topics and have strong analytical and synthesis skills</li> <li>Are genuinely curious about deeptech and science-driven innovation</li> <li>Work with a high degree of autonomy, precision, and intellectual rigor</li> <li>Have experience in fast-paced, demanding environments—like VC, startups, M&amp;A, strategy consulting, engineering, research, product, or data</li> <li>Bring coding skills to the table (definitely a bonus!)</li> </ul> <p><em>We&#39;re a team of entrepreneurial thinkers who operate with a high level of trust.</em> <strong><em>Success in this role comes from being proactive, precise, and intellectually curious—with strong communication and interpersonal skills</em></strong><em>.
