Software Development Engineer in Test Intern

This is a cross-functional opportunity where you'll be able to leverage your technical and problem-solving skills to help IEX set new standards and raise the bar for performance, fairness, and transparency. If there’s anything we can build to make their jobs easier – let’s do it!</li> </ul> <p><strong>You Are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Java (JavaScript, Node.js, SQL, a plus.)</li> <li>Tech savvy and comfortable with scripting, building, deploying, and configuring software in a Linux environment</li> <li>Familiarity with software development lifecycle</li> <li>Ability to be confronted with something new and learn as much as you can, as quickly as possible</li> <li>Familiarity with financial markets is helpful, but not required</li> <li>Culture fit (Think Big, Do Good/ Win Together/ Be Gritty/ Invent &amp; Reinvent)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Interest in market structure and electronic trading</li> </ul> <p>Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay is $45.00/hour&nbsp;for this NY-based position. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands.
