SUMMARY OF POSITION

· Duration: 10 weeks (Summer 2026) 5/26/26-8/6/26

· Location: Rogers, AR

· Hybrid program. Mondays & Fridays work from Home. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays work in Rogers Office.

· Compensation: $16/hour

· Capstone Presentation: Final presentation to Walmart Team

Shurtape Technologies, LLC, is a leading manufacturer of adhesive tape used throughout the Industrial MRO, Packaging and Professional Channels. Our brands are stocked and sold under the Shurtape, Frog, and T-Rex brands exclusively through our North American distribution network. Shurtape’s stated purpose is to provide better, easier solutions for everyday workplace tasks.

Join Walmart’s Category Management Team as a 2026 Activate Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in retail strategy, data analysis, and modular planning. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to real business decisions and present insights to Walmart leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Conduct a comprehensive Market Assessment across all Walmart categories.

· Present key findings and insights from Market Assessment to the Walmart Category Management Team at the end of the summer.

· Analyze category trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior.

· Collaborate with Category Advisors and Merchants to gather insights.

· Develop actionable recommendations based on data-driven analysis.

· Support modular strategy and assortment planning initiatives.

· Utilize tools such as Walmart Scintilla and Blue Yonder Space Planning.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

· Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

· Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

· Curiosity and a fresh perspective to challenge conventional thinking.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
