Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to developing intelligent tools and advancing product engineering through Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Geometric Deep Learning. Here, you will support the creation of innovative solutions for virtual vehicle development.

 

What awaits you?

  • You will gain insight into developing new technologies for virtual vehicle development at BMW.
  • Furthermore, you will support working with state-of-the-art generative models for 2D and 3D data using deep neural networks and advanced visualizations.
  • In addition, you help to develop novel methods using AI to optimize and revolutionize product development.
  • Moreover, you will contribute to a motivated team at the BMW Research and Innovation Center (FIZ) in Munich.
  • You will support research-oriented tasks and have the opportunity to contribute to publications.

 

What should you bring along?

  • Studies in data science, computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Theoretical knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and optimization.
  • Experience with 3D data such as point clouds or meshes is a plus.
  • High level of personal initiative and strong drive to innovate.
  • Business fluent in English, German is a plus.
