About the Role

The Opportunity

RS&H is currently seeking a Summer 2026 Landscape Architecture Intern for the Buildings Group in Tampa, FL. 

 

The Landscape Architecture Intern will collaborate with and be mentored by top Architectural associates on our team. As part of the Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by assisting with impact studies, cost analyses, and design requirements; collecting data and relevant information and documents; performing standard computations and analysis; and preparing drawings, visual aids, and presentations. This is an amazing opportunity to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of Landscape Architecture.

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Perform design resolutions requiring knowledge and application of basic Landscape Architectural principles
  • Prepare and revise plan documents details
  • Evaluate and review shop drawings for ongoing construction projects
  • Provide support to Architectural and project management associates

Qualifications:            

  • Upperclassman (Junior, Senior) or Graduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture at an accredited university
  • 2.5 GPA or above
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or related experience
  • Basic knowledge of production software
  • Have a passion for landscape architecture and a willingness to grow and learn
