About the Role

Interns at Belle Tire gain valuable, hands-on experience while learning what it's like to work in a professional, fast-paced business environment. The IT Business Analyst Intern works closely with technology and business partners to support digital initiatives, analyze business processes, and help improve systems that support our retail and corporate operations. This role provides exposure to real-world projects and meaningful work that directly impacts the business.

 

What You'll Do

  • Learn about Belle Tire's business by attending meetings, huddles, and trainings
  • Support digital initiatives by partnering with IT and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into system or process requirements
  • Assist in documenting business processes, user stories, workflows, and functional requirements
  • Analyze data and system outputs to help identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Participate in testing activities, including validating system functionality and documenting results
  • Help prepare materials, presentations, and status updates related to digital projects
  • Support change management efforts by assisting with communications, training materials, and user documentation
  • Complete a digital or IT-related project and present findings or recommendations to leadership

 

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to gather, organize, and summarize information from multiple sources
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

 

Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment, requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools. Work hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
