TMHCC Stop Loss, a $2 Billion division within TMHCC, leads the way in providing medical stop loss insurance sold to employers. Medical Stop Loss provides an added layer of insurance protection to employers who choose to self-fund their health benefit plans. Self-funding can incur risks from catastrophic claims, and Medical Stop Loss insurance from Tokio Marine HCC is designed to protect employers from that risk. 

*This role is located hybrid in Kennesaw, GA*

Position Summary:

Under immediate supervision, learns, shadows, and provides support in a business unit or department of Tokio Marine HCC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Intern Duties.
  • Perform assigned project work.
  • Observe and interact with various professionals.
  • Attending staff and departmental meetings on an ongoing basis.
  • Complete, update, and distribute communications of various types.
  • Solicitate feedback from multiple project participants and following direction.
  • Assist with department responsibilities
  • Identify areas of improvement from QA perspective and follow-up with solutions
  • Execute manual testing
  • Run the tests in the Dev and QA environments and file issues in Jira, a defect tracking tool
  • Work closely with Enterprise Solutions Team to ensure timely delivery of the project
  • Other assignments as needed and assigned

Education, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program applicable to Information Technology, CIS, or Computer Science
  • Possess and have ability to apply basic knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
  • Good written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
  • Good organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
  • General knowledge of application development, QA process (Playwright automation is a plus)
  • Hybrid work schedule – 4 days in the Kennesaw, GA office, 1 days remote
