About the Role
<p>We are seeking a<strong> Occupational therapy Intern</strong> to join our growing multi-disciplinary team!</p>

<p><strong><em>What will you do?</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>The intern will be responsible for taking data during sessions and completing documentation of those sessions.</li>
<li>Observe and participate in the treatment session under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.</li>
<li>The intern is required to attend a series of weekly staff meetings, such as the DT Team Meeting, Clinical Integration Meetings, and supervision meetings.</li>
<li>Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, fax, etc. as needed.</li>
<li>Assist in preparing information and materials for treatment sessions.</li>
<li>Assist in maintaining equipment and materials for the DT team.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em> What's required?</em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in an institution of higher learning </li>
<li>Ability to interact with children of a variety of ages and be both engaging and fun</li>
<li>Willingness and patience to support children who may be engaging in challenging behaviors</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible and “think on your feet”</li>
<li>Ability to communicate positively and effectively to families and co-workers</li>
