About the Role

Interns at Belle Tire gain meaningful, hands-on experience supporting a growing retail organization. As a Purchasing Intern, you'll work closely with the Purchasing team and cross-functional partners to learn how sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing decisions support day-to-day store operations and overall business performance. You'll contribute to active projects, analyze data, and build skills that prepare you for a future career in supply chain or procurement.

 

What You'll Do

  • Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
  • Gain exposure to the day-to-day functions and strategy of the Purchasing department
  • Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
  • Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
  • Assist in creating reports, analyze metrics and summarize information
  • Assist in creating materials and/or presentations
  • Send out communications, respond to phone calls/e-mails and overall provide support to Belle Tire retail locations
  • Complete a purchasing related project and present final product to senior leadership

 

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing or related field
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

 

Work Environment

The position is based in an office environment, requiring periods of sitting and the operation of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other office tools. Work hours are typically 8-5, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
