Role Overview:

We are keen to host an undergraduate Intern within our Corporate Accounting team, for a 3-6 month internship focused on Finance Operations and general finance related administration tasks.

The Intern will receive guidance, coaching and support from different managers and colleagues, and rotation between tasks to allow holistic experience-building and exposure to different aspects of Corporate Accounting.

 

Responsibilities could include:

  • Assist with Account Payable (AP) tasks such as invoice registration and vendor set up.
  • Assist in routine month end closing of financial accounts such as bank reconciliation and GL reconciliation tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in the Yardi implementation project including data verification and testing.
  • Assist in Finance administrative task as required.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
